GIN researchers have shown that ribosomal protein composition varies according to organ, providing data to support the concept of specialized ribosomes.
Well known as a calcium channel for its role in muscle contraction, the RyR1 protein is also involved in muscle cell differentiation. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by GIN researchers and published in the scientific journal Cells.

The Journal of Cell Biology has highlighted the 12 most outstanding papers of 2024. Among this selection is the article “Stable GDP-tubulin islands rescue dynamic microtubules” co-authored by GIN researchers.
Researchers at the GIN provide a new understanding of the dynamic instability of microtubules.
