Organelles transport in health and disease

Symposium, Lecture, Conference / Research

From December 3, 2024 to December 4, 2024

colloque organelles

Chiara Scaramuzzino, Marta Prieto Garcia and Anthony Procès, researchers at the Grenoble Institut des Neurosciences (U1216, Université Grenoble alpes/Inserm) are pleased to invite you to the scientific event entitled "Organelles transport in health and disease" on December 3 and 4, 2024.

The two-day conference will address a range of topics related to organelle transport, encompassing diverse fields of research, including cell biology, neuroscience, metabolism, biophysics and structural biology. The cellular mechanisms that enable efficient trafficking of organelles (mitochondria, lysosomes, transport vesicles, endosomes, etc.) for proper cell function will be examined. Additionally, we will discuss how the deregulation of organelle transport contributes to the development of pathologies. Finally, we will explore the potential therapeutic implications of organelle transport biology. Our aim is to engage in a multidisciplinary discussion on organelles transport, fostering active participation from the entire Grenoble scientific community. The program features international speakers who are recognized for their scientific excellence in the field.
