Viral production technical platform

virus

The viral production technical platform is a tool that enables the various GIN teams to supply viral vectors, in a secure environment, in order to develop their scientific projects.

It brings together a range of equipment and skills to train users and support them in carrying out their projects.

The viral vectors developed are of the Lentivirus and Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) type, with type A inserts only. The technology used to produce them requires a level 2 containment laboratory. The GIN is equipped with a reinforced level 2 laboratory to guarantee maximum safety for the environment and the experimenter.
