Research

The Grenoble Institute of Neuroscience is committed to studying, understanding and treating the brain. Its research teams conduct basic research in neuroscience with a multidisciplinary approach in order to develop new therapeutic strategies for neurological, psychiatric and neuromuscular disorders which are incurable thus far.

The GIN also actively takes part in training future generations of neuroscientists and neurologists by supervising students and Ph.D. students.

Its research and training activities have allowed the GIN to establish itself as a center of excellence in neuroscience on a local, national and international scale.
