GIN supports the “Stand Up For Science” movement

On Friday March 7, GIN members joined the national “Stand Up For Science” movement organized to echo the day of protest by researchers in the United States and in reaction to the Trump administration's attacks on scientific institutions and research.

The Université Grenoble Alpes and Inserm, which oversee the GIN, reaffirmed the essential role of knowledge and science in our democratic societies, and their commitment to academic freedom. Faced with the challenges and crises of the 21st century, it is essential to fight against all forms of obscurantism and disinformation, wherever they may come from.
