Séminaire de Fabrizio Pizzagalli (Université de Turin)
Imaging genetics aims to identify genetic variants associated with the structures and functions of the human brain. Recent studies were able to identify common genetic variants influencing human brain morphology assessed through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This is a promising method for understanding the causal chain from genetic variants to increased risk for disorders. In my talk I will introduce the steps required to run neuroimaging genetics studies, showing examples from the literature and preliminary results from our ongoing projects.
