Master 2 Biology – Speciality "Neurobiology and Neuroscience"

The aim of this Master’s degree is to train students in various areas of Neuroscience, from cellular to integrative neuroscience. This specialty is available only on a research program.

The aim is to enable students who want to receive neurobiology training to quickly integrate the professional world or to develop necessary tools to prepare a PhD. All members of the educational teams come from the GIN and this specialty is focused on research fields represented within the GIN host laboratories. Some teaching units are highly recommended or even as of the M1: "Molecular bases of the normal and pathological memory", "Functional anatomy of the central nervous system" et "Neurobiological bases of the behaviors".

During the second year (M2), courses are all taught in English (International M2). Students must attend the following three teaching units:

  • Plasticity of the Adult Nervous System (supervisor Rémy Sadoul)  - programm
  • Neurophysiology (supervisor Mireille Albrieux) - programm 
  • Neurodegenaration and repair (supervisor Alain Buisson) - programm
